Description

The Distribution Pharmacy Technician works in a mail-order pharmacy setting under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Performs the technical aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping and inventory control.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:


Work in a mail-order distribution center in a non-customer facing role.
Fill Rx medications
Checks all orders for accuracy and completeness of information.
Assist Pharmacists in the safe distribution of medications and the provision of pharmaceutical care.
Ensure inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team.
Calculates correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.
Work passionately to continuously improve consumer experiences
Hours: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM , Monday through Saturday (four 10-hour shifts)


Required Qualifications


Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician in Training
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
High School diploma or GED
Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10 panel drug test


Preferred Qualifications


National Certification - CPhT
Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
