Law Fellow, Office of the General Counsel
The candidate will be developing and implementing a site-based solution to an issue of significant legal importance within the University structure in the area of higher education law. Legal research and analysis of complex cases related to higher education and administrative law. Conducting investigations and drafting position statements. Attending proceedings and meetings with clients. Assisting with subject matter training and presentations. Monitoring litigation matters. Must have received a Juris Doctor degree from the College of Law in 2018 or 2019. Should been admitted to practice in Arizona, or be planning to sit for the July 2019 administration of the Examination. Excellent writing, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are needed. Experience from participation in law clinics or experiential courses in areas of higher education and/or public interest law is needed.
