What You Will Do:
I. General Summary

Under general supervision of a manager, responsible for managing and maintaining the infrastructure that is required to extract, transform, cleanse and manage data in support of the organization's analytics ecosystem.
II. Principal Responsibilities and Tasks
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. These are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified.
1. Perform DevOps-focused work for diverse projects, including ongoing support and maintenance of data stack, analytics and software lifecycle.
2. Create and maintain system architecture, design, and automation in support of in-house-developed software, platforms, data and analytics products.
3. Engage with personnel from across the org chart, including DBA, Developer, and non-technical staff, where needed.
4. Release and maintain open and closed-source software and projects
5. Manage availability and performance problems for clients; automate resolution to prevent re-occurrence
6. Must be able to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation as necessary
What You Need to Be Successful:
III. Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences or closely related field or equivalent related professional experience is required. Additional certifications are preferred.
2. Two or more (2 ) years of experience in a DevOps role, designing and developing infrastructure to support integrations for internal and external applications required.
IV. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1. Excellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking skills
2. Built/Maintained at least 2 production-level infrastructures on Unix / Linux environment
3. Experience with On-premise server's deployments.
4. Strong familiarity with containers and container-orchestration frameworks particularly Kubernetes.
5. Experience with Linux tools and ability to write advanced SQL and Unix Shell scripts.
6. Have 1 years of programming skills/experience in Python.
7. Significant experience with one of the configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
8. Experience with network tools and load balancers.
9. Proven ability and desire to learn new technologies and develop solutions using a variety of integration technologies, patterns and approaches.
10. Flexibility to learn new skills quickly and flow to the work.
11. Able to work both independently and in a team environment; ability to build/maintain strong relationships and effectively partner with peers.
12. Strong interpersonal and communication skills a must.
