Profile

Find teachers who desperately need my online workshops
I am an educational trainer who (due to COVID-19) has shifted from working with K-12 teachers in-person to leading professional development workshops online. Teachers across the country have been asked to teach remotely, but many are struggling to create an online classroom and lead online video meetings when they have no prior experience with these techniques. I need to get the word out about the workshops I offer immediately so I can help teachers convert their classes to online platforms and still teach their students with a high level of engagement. However, I am teaching workshops every day and do not have time to reach out to teachers and school administrators myself. I would love to hire a social media savant who thrives on marketing and is clever about reaching their target audience.
The ideal freelancer would know much more about social media than I and have a variety of techniques for posting opportunities on different platforms. They would have concrete ideas on how to get workshop enrollment for private, charter, and public school teachers from every state. This social media marketing person would be ready to go into action in a self-directed manner and feel comfortable proposing new ideas as they become familiar with the people I serve. Because my target audience is in education, excellent grammar and spelling are a must--but with a business-casual voice in the copy.
All short-term work can develop into long-term work if we work together well, this is not a short-term need.
