General Counsel II / III
Duties: Provide day-to-day legal advice to management of all divisions. Answer general legal questions of license holders related to The Real Estate License Act and rules. Plan, implement, direct and coordinate legal assistance on the interpretation and application of agency regulations and state and federal laws. Conduct legal research and review and draft legal documents, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents. Analyze actual or proposed changes in law or rules. Draft legal-related education and training materials for license holders. Prepare draft rules; coordinate rule development with affected parties. Administer the Real Estate Recovery Trust Account and the Inspection Recovery Fund. Serve as legal resource and liaison for TREC advisory committees.
