On-Site Superintendent

Lead person to supervise trades on-site and insure compliance with plans, specs, and safety requirements for commercial (heavy public works) construction projects around the central Ohio area.The Superintendent must work hand in hand with the Project Manager to complete the project on time and on budget. DUTIESBe responsible for addressing and/or communicating any obstacles that may hinder on time performance.Develop and maintain project schedule per scheduleProactively notify subcontractors when their services are required on-site.Review all submittals provided within Procore.Generate RFIs using Procore.Review subcontractor's respective scopes of work with Project ManagerReview and submit change orders for Project Manager approval prior to releasing work.Monitor trade compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented and overall quality of their work being performed.Generate agenda and conduct weekly safety and progress meetings with subcontractors.Generate daily reports, look ahead schedule, and weekly status updates using Procore.Record daily progress photos using Procore.Schedule and manage all city and special inspections.Provide as-builts and any required reports, along with job files, as required for close out.Plan and supervise subcontractors and/or trade activities including: Determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.Manage deliveries to project site.
