Associate Attorney
The candidate will join general practice law firm. The firm files primarily chapter 7 and chapter 13 consumer debt cases. Will meet with clients, gather documents, and attend creditor meetings and other court hearings. Must be able to immediately take on a full case load of pending bankruptcy cases. Also must be able to handling estate planning and probate cases. License to practice law in Ohio and Southern District of Ohio required. Minimum 1 year of bankruptcy experience preferred. Will oversee and work closely with support staff in drafting and reviewing all documentation associated with bankruptcy matters. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bankruptcy process including plan confirmation, motions for relief, contested matters, adversary proceedings and the like. Should have Interested in doing debtors bankruptcy work. Experience with bankruptcy a plus.
