Microstrategy Developer
New Haven, CT
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
1) Design and develop complex schemas, objects, reports and dashboards to meet the business requirements in a global environment. Build and/or enhance attributes, metrics, filters prompts and other objects.
2) Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and reporting specifications and provide technical report assistance. Support end user training and provide second-line support for users who develop reports on behalf of their departmental colleagues.
3) Validate reporting results against requirements. Troubleshoot and analyze data issues within report
4) Work with the ETL team and business operational teams to understand data sources and implement new requirements.
5) Ensure optimal end-user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans
6) Guide and mentor other Business Intelligence/Reporting team members.
