Senior Associate Director of Technology Transactions
The candidate will be reporting to OTD’s Director of Technology Transactions. Will be part of OTD’s Director of Technology Transactions, the Senior Associate Director of Technology Transactions. Responsible for negotiating, structuring, drafting, and commenting upon license agreements, industry sponsored research and collaboration agreements, material transfer agreements, inter-institutional agreement and related agreements, material transfer agreements, inter-institutional agreements and related agreements for the Wyss Institute’s faculty, technical staff and Executive Management. Should have JD degree with 7+ year’s relevant experience most of which should be transactional (not patent prosecution). Experience in drafting and negotiating complex intellectual property (patent and copyright) license agreements. Experience in drafting and negotiating collaborative research and similar agreements is essential. Experience with equity agreements and corporate transactions is required. Experience in technology, life sciences and/or medical-related field is essential. Experience representing startups is strongly preferred. In-house and/or experience in higher education is preferred. Must possess superior communication, drafting, and negotiation skills. Must have proven ability to grasp complex legal and business issues.
