Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor In-Residence
The candidate will be expected to share a deep commitment to effective instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to the mentoring of students in their professional development. Senior level candidates will also share a commitment to the development of innovate courses. Will be expected to contribute to scholarship and outreach targeted at the professional community so as to maintain faculty qualifications under AACSB guidelines. Will also be expected to broaden participation among members of under-represented groups; demonstrate through their activities the richness of diversity in the learning experience; integrate multicultural experiences into instructional methods and research tools; contribute to the development of pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of diverse learning styles and intellectual interests. Must possess a Master’s degree, a CPA, and have some teaching experience. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. Minimum Qualifications for Assistant/Associate/Professor in-Residence: Candidates must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Accounting or related field, or a J.D. Equivalent foreign degrees are acceptable. Teach in multiple accounting areas are preferred, as are individuals with experience advising students, practicing accounting, and a CPA qualification. A publication record is desirable. Applicants at the rank of associate professor or higher should have significant experience in an AACSB accredited university program, and evidence of service to the university, the field, and the profession are required.
