Professor of Practice
Duties: Teach and assist in the development of bar readiness related courses and workshops; Teach and assist in the development of academic support related courses to enhance law school performance; Assist in the design and teaching of workshops to improve the academic skills of students; Evaluate and provide written and individual feedback on student work in academic support and bar readiness contexts; Provide individual academic support and bar readiness counseling to students in all stages of their studies, including those struggling academically and those preparing for the bar exam; Serve as an individual support to bar takers, monitor the progress of bar takers, and provide the encouragement and empathy necessary to contribute to successful bar exam passage; Participate along with other faculty members in providing academic advising to all students; Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of student data and bar exam data; Assist in the coordination of efforts and work with other student services departments to address the needs of students; Respond to student concerns in a timely manner: and Otherwise support the Director of Academic Success and Bar Readiness, as needed.
