Title Processor/Closer
The candidate will be opening and Closing Title Files, including proficiency with DoubleTime and E-Closing DoubleTime. Ordering Title and examining and clearing requirements on title commitments and lender closing instructions. Ordering mortgage payoffs and HOA estoppels, Drafting HUD/CD and ALTA Settlement Statements. Scheduling closings. Preparing closing protection letters, preliminary and final closing disclosures and title policies. Ordering title updates and gathering all necessary information needed to ensure a smooth and accurate closing takes place. Preparing and recording closing documents and making appropriate disbursements associated with the settlement process. Providing constant communication with Realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers and clients to ensure quick and accurate transactions. Reviewing all files before, during and after the closings to prevent and resolve any potential claims. Other duties as required 2-4 years of experience in commercial as well as residential closings, including title processing and title insurance. Commercial experience is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office are required. Have strong organizational and excellent time management skills are required. Possess a keen eye for detail are required. Notary or ability to obtain within 90 days (RON is a plus). Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
