Job Details:
Effective September 21, 2021, we are offering a $2000 sign-on bonus for all new hires that meet the criteria. We also offer a referral bonus for our current team members that refer you to work at our facility. Just place their name on the application where indicated and if the criteria is met, they will receive bonus dollars. To be eligible for sign on bonus, you must be in active status at the end of 60 days of employment to receive the first $1,000 and 90 days of employment to receive the 2nd $1,000.
Starting pay for this position is $16.80 per hour with an attendance incentive of an additional $.50 per hour if you work all your scheduled work hours in the work week. We also offer $.35 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift team members.
Position Description:
This position is responsible for entry level general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position generally involves standing at or near a conveyor belt, racking, stripping netting from hams, bagging, labeling, packing, palletizing. Involves some knife work.
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires standing and walking for 8 to 12 hours a day on concrete flooring
Position requires squatting, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling and lifting 40 lbs. or more if required
Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as pinching and grasping
Must be willing to work in an environment with raw/cooked meat
Must be willing to work cold environment, 30 to 40 degrees, with all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and required gear

1ST (United States of America) Everyone is hired into 1st shift orientation. Positions open for 1st and 2nd shift production.
