The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 2 integrates programs developed to improve overall health outcomes with a focus on prescription drugs. The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

Responsibilities

The Maximize Your Benefits Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity. Prescription Savings Specialists educate members on how to maximize their pharmacy benefits by taking advantage of cost savings opportunities on their medications.

In this role you will:


Educate members on alternative medications and opportunities for cost savings.
Inbound and outbound calls (approximately 30-40/day)
Communicate with members that have received letters, text, emails and voicemails
Assist members with affordability barriers to high cost meds
Drive health awareness with members through Rx Education


Required Qualifications


Must have an active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in Arizona, Texas or Florida
Must be able to become certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician in Training OR call center experience in a pharmacy or related call center setting
Excellent communication skills
Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously
A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service
High School diploma or GED
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Home Office : a dedicated secure home workspace , and high-speed internet (minimum connection speed of 10m x 1m)


Preferred Qualifications


Bilingual in Spanish
Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
Experience working with insurance plans and Medicare

Work-At-Home Requirements:


WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
