Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its “Top 100 Places to Work.”Overview: Mercy Convenient Care - Edmond Memorial, is currently seeking an experienced APRN or PA for a full-time opportunity at our thriving clinic.  At Mercy Convenient Care, we offer our patients urgent care access to walk in without an appointment and get the medical attention they need at a lower cost and with a shorter waiting time than than a local emergency room. Our clinic sees adults and children of all ages for (included but not limited to):Symptom evaluationSimple cuts, puncture wounds, abscessesSprains and strainsBone fracturesCold and flu symptoms (ear pain, fever, strep, mono)Urinary tract infectionsRashes, minor burns, insect bitesQualifications:Required Experience: Must have a minimum of (1) year of experience working as an independent provider in an urgent care or convenient care setting.Required Education: Successful completion of an accredited Master's Degree Family Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program. Required Licensure: Licensed by the State of Oklahoma Medical Board (Physician Assistant) OR State of Oklahoma Board of Nursing and recognized as a Nurse PractitionerCertifications: Have or obtain national certification as a family nurse practitioner OR Physician Assistant.
