Clinical Assistant Professor (Paralegal Studies)
Duties: Teach face-to-face and online courses within the Paralegal Studies curriculum and may develop coursework in a substantive legal specialty area. Advise/mentor students, serve in department governance-related matters, and perform other professional duties as directed. While serving as program director of the ABA-approved Paralegal Studies program, will provide program leadership including, performing duties to support accreditation. May include curriculum and program development, assistance with course scheduling, recruitment and retention of students, advising, preparation of articulation agreements, convening and leading program faculty and advisory board meetings, supporting the program’s undergraduate student group, coordinating internships, and other duties as determined by the Director of the School of Justice and Public Safety. The work requires daytime campus availability with some evenings and weekends depending upon teaching schedules and recruiting/retention events.
