34872BRReq No.:34872BRJob Description and Qualifications:This position within IG Americas Central Sales North has responsibility for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 accounts and $9-$10MM in annual revenue.

Responsibilities include: renewing existing Liquid Bulk merchant contracts, driving price and surcharge initiatives, building customer relationships, improving contract terms and conditions, and signing new business for the North sub-region. There is a high degree of emphasis on meeting established business targets in a challenging, competitive environment. The position works closely with IG Field Sales Representatives to jointly drive the continued success of the Inside/Outside selling model.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Self-starter with strong desire to succeed in a complex internal and external environment

Ability to work as part of a larger selling team

Financial acumen

Commercial industrial gas selling experience a plus

Knowledge and understanding of industrial gas contract language and negotiations

Understanding of Liquid Bulk business, offerings and equipment is preferred

BS degree

Responsive and detail oriented

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Strong influencing skills and ability to work cross functionally


Limited travel required: 1-2 trips per year to North Region (US customer) base and 1-2 trips per year to Sales Meetings.
