RN - Inpatient: Oncology Infusion Center','202127','Oncology Infusion Services','Washington-Seattle','Days','On Call/Per Diem','On Call/Per Diem','Variable - likely 10 hr shifts','Variable - likely 10 hr shifts','Variable schedule M-S','Variable schedule M-S','','','!*!Our Oncology Infusion Center located in downtown Seattle has an opening for an experienced RN to work Per-Diem (on call).  We have a busy Infusion center caring for hematology, oncology and non-oncology patients receiving infusions.  This position may require working 10 hour shifts with variable shift start times..  And our Per diem RNs working in the Infusion Center earn an extra 15% per diem rate.  At Virginia Mason our Registered Nurses blend skill, expertise and critical thinking with care, compassion and personal relationships to truly connect with their patients. Responsibilities:


The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services

Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.

Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.','!*!
Current WA State RN license is required.
1 or more years recent RN experience with acute care patients.

CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.

Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
Preferred Qualifications: ACLS and BSN Strongly preferred.  Ideal candidates will have Chemotherapy and biotherapy administration experience.
