Seasonal Admissions Recruiter
The candidate will represent the law school at local, regional, and national recruiting events; counsel and provide follow-up communication with prospective applicants; represent the law school on panels, workshops and at prelaw forums and conferences; assist with prospect cultivation activities and communications; assist with mailings and projects geared toward increasing application volume; and assist with social media outreach. This position requires the ability to travel extensively between mid-September and mid-November. Represent the law school at local, regional, and national recruiting events and forums. Arrange private visits to the law school for prelaw organizations and law societies. Assist with execution of prospect cultivation plan including mailings, electronic communications, and program development. Counsel prospective students and provide information to prelaw advisors and university administrators. Share content and engage with prospective students through social media channels. Assist the Admissions team in presentation of material sent to prospective and admitted students, prelaw advisors, and other contacts. Assist with recruitment scheduling and registration, including packing and shipping all marketing materials to be used at fair and forums. Comply with university travel policy including managing expenses, retaining receipts and maintaining travel records. Complete recruitment reports. Communicate via email, phone or in person with prospective applicants. Conduct campus tours. Assist with general duties of the Admissions Office and other duties as assigned by the Senior Assistant Dean or Associate Director of Admissions.
