Higher Education Legal Fellow
The Fellow will report to Associate Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs and Deputy General Counsel and be a member of the Office of Legal Affairs staff, supporting projects through original research and collaboration with other team members. Fellow can expect to prepare memoranda of law, review and draft agreements, interact with other departments, develop and present training materials, and assist in other duties involving the full scope of work in the Office of Legal Affairs. Should have a J.D. degree (or pending J.D. degree) from an ABA-accredited law school. A strong background or demonstrated interest in higher education law is required. Admission (or pending admission) to the North Carolina Bar is needed.
