The hospital’s emergency department continues to be one of the busiest in the city. Within three months of inception, TriStar Southern Hills’ emergency department saw over 3,000 patients. We now average more than 40,000 ER visits each year. TriStar Southern Hills pioneered bedside registration and was the first hospital in Middle Tennessee to offer community-based angioplasty.

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is currently looking for a Pharmacy Technician II.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for all stocking, filling/refilling ADM’s, computer input of charges, prepacking and storage of medication, assist in ordering and performing inventory on IV medications and Narcotic drugs, and preparing IV medications. Fulfills departmental responsibilities with the long range plan, mission, vision and values of the hospital

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred.
Basic computer skills required.
IV compounding experience is highly preferred. 
State licensure and Pharmacy Technician Certified Board card required.
