Part-time General Counsel
The candidate will support privacy and compliance efforts, as well as to support commercial and capital transactions as needed. Will draft external policies using consumer-facing language. Perform and integrate competitive and industry research into legal solutions. Work with operating staff to identify effective practices. Should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school and be a member of a State Bar. Must have strong legal foundation and 2-3 years of experience at a major law firm or in-house counsel. Experience documenting and organizing contracts is required. Understanding of federal and state regulations related to education and privacy is needed. Facility with SAAS, web and advertising are a plus.
