General Ledger Accountant
Role:
Do you want to work for a rapidly expanding service company with a stable foundation, top name in their industry, and have the opportunity for growth. This position will start out as a remote position and move to a hybrid working situation.
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the controller with general day to day accounting functions. This will include cash accounting, dealing with the banks, general ledger accounting, month end close, revenue accounting, journal entries, reporting, trail balances, fixed assets, etc. This role will have a critical impact on the organizations treasury as well as revenue cycle which would include billing, accounts receivable, collections, revenue recognition, etc.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Controller with cash accounting, cash management, banking activities, journal entries, general ledger, month end close, trail balances and financial statement preparation
Perform account reconciliations as well as analysis for various general ledgers
Perform revenue accounting; revenue recognition, etc.
Assist in the preparation and review of accounts receivables, collections, billings, etc.
Support operational and investment activities
Work within Excel to create customize reports
Work cross functionally with different division leaders to understand accounting impacts
Ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required.
2 years of progressive general ledger or treasury accounting experience.
This role would consider someone out of public accounting as well.
Prior experience within a multi-million dollar organization
Prior Workday, SAP, Oracle or other ERP experience is a big plus
Compensation:

Working Situation:
