You will function as a subject matter expert on the underwriting application and its target market. You will understand the competitive landscape from strategy to functional capabilities and represent RMS as a domain and product expert.u00A0 Not only will you drive new products and product capabilities, but you will manage them from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption.You will be part of a broader team of senior product managers within the product management team that contribute to the broader RMSu2019 strategy for risk analytics application vision.Responsibilities: Coordinate with, and collect feedback from, Clients, Account Management, Model Development, Model Product Management, Client Support Services, Software Development, Geospatial Development teams, and relevant market/competitive sources to create product requirements.u00A0 Work closely with Management, Model, Software and Geospatial Development teams to execute product roadmaps as the representative of core cat modelling products. Manage requirements repositories (JIRA), and participate as needed in validation, QA, change management, and documentation.u00A0 Communicating with multiple scrum teams Remove obstacles to enable the scrum team to maintain a high team velocity. Create and manage the ongoing the roadmap for the product Manage features internally and externally, including working directly with internal/external stakeholders and external customers to understand client workflows, product needs and competitive landscape. Help identify product gaps as well as opportunities to improve product position in the market. Assist through the lifecycle of product management for the core products from concept to market Build strong relationships with users and champion the client internally Manage internal and external stakeholders including: users, sales, marketing, engineering and design Work daily with full stack engineering team: DevOps, BE, FE and QE Work daily with design team to innovate on the user experience and user research Drive product requirements and acceptance criteria Manage backlog grooming and prioritization Gather and analyze usage data and feedback to inform product roadmap Enable sales team and support sales cycle, and educate other colleagues and stakeholders Evangelize product at conferences and events Advocate for product management best practices and process improvementsExperience/Skills Required: 10 yearsu2019 experience in software product management 10 yearsu2019 experience in global insurance and reinsurance industry or cat modelling 10 yearsu2019 experience in customer services strong communication, presentation and written skills Ability to synthesize product requirements clearly within market and product requirements documents and market requirement documents (PRD & MRD) Ability to break down PRD and MRD into lower-level user stories for product engineering Ability to synthesize large complex issues into small simple components Ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple engineering and field groups experience of working with agile software development practices bonus: experience working with remote team Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, quantitative and problem-solving ability; Experience of stochastic modelling and/or Machine Learning a plus.
