Focus HealthCare is looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to help our clients Age in Place! Certified or not but have experience we are interested in learning more about what you have to offer even if it is is less than a year and non paid. Working with elderly family is the same as taking care of our clients.
Focus is looking for Professional Caregivers thru out the KC Metro area including cities: Kansas City, MO (South and North), Gladstone, Smithville, Liberty, Platte City, Excelsior Springs, Kearney, Lawson, Richmond, Independence, Lee's Summit and other surround MO areas.
We have also expanded on the KS side of the Metro and will start which includes Wynadotte and Leavenworth Counties in KS.
Focus Provides
Paid Training
- We offer online training courses as part of our orientation as well as field training with a field supervisor
Paid Travel time between clients
Appropriate PPE Equipment and training to protect from COVID 19
Flexible Hours
Mentor Program - training is set up basis on individual needs. We don't rush the process!
90-Day Review and Sign-on Bonus

Job Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· CPR Certification preferred
· TB Test (within 30 days of hire)
· General Health Assessment (within 30 days of hire)
· Excellent communication and people skills
· Commitment to Safety
· Strong Ethics
· Willingness/ability to do housework and cooking
· Reliable transportation
· Valid DL and current Car Insurance
· Pass a background check
· Be a Mandated Reporter of Abuse and Neglect
· Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test
· Must be able to work at least one weekend a month
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time, push, pull, twist, turn, bend to perform necessary tasks.
