The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in alcohol beverage law and regulatory compliance, handling matters such as state and federal licensing, three-tier distribution compliance, and trade practice restrictions.

Duties

• Manage state and federal licensing, including TTB permits and state licenses.
• Ensure compliance with the three-tier distribution system.
• Advise on trade practice and tied-house restrictions.
• Handle labeling and formula approvals.
• Draft and review franchise/distribution agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions involving licensed entities.
• Assist with general corporate and commercial matters for alcohol beverage clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in alcohol beverage regulatory law.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and state alcohol beverage control agencies.
• Knowledge of the three-tier system and licensing requirements for alcohol beverage entities.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Interest in working in a collaborative team environment.

Education
