Data Warehouse Developer
The candidate will be responsible for retrieving data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse to satisfy user requests. This includes building data marts, ad hoc data sets, dashboards and other analytic datasets. Responsible for data modeling (familiarity with 3NF, Dimensional and Data Vault models). Work closely with developers and business users to retrieve data. Assures that architecture and development follow data warehouse best practices. Responsible for managing, optimizing, overseeing and monitoring data retrieval, storage and distribution. Perform thorough testing and validation in order to support the accuracy of data transformations. Must have expertise in SQL. Should have expertise in data warehouse concepts, practices and procedures. Experience with cloud platforms, Azure preferred. Excellent knowledge of relational databases, especially MPP databases like Synapse or Snowflake. Must have experience with a scripting language such as Python. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Experience with big data processing techniques and tools like Spark desired. Experience with ETL tools like Tableau, Informatica, SSIS, Matillion preferred. Must have Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Systems. or related field.
