Profile

We are seeking a friendly and detailed oriented Personal Care Assistant to join our growing healthcare team.
We have a part-time positions available in Landover, MD.
Tentative Schedule: Approximately 1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the evening, Mon-Thu.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide client with medication reminder
Prepare breakfast and provide light house keeping
Follows the plan of care to provide, safe, competent service to the client.
Helps the client to maintain good personal hygiene and assists in maintaining a healthful, safe environment.
Gives simple emotional and psychological support to the client
Inform supervisors about uncommon events and complete aide notes during shift
Job Requirements
Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to complete a criminal background check.
Must have current CPR certification.
Must comprehend the basics of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation, alzheimers/dementia.
Must understand and respect clients including ethics and confidentiality.
