Description

Humana needs a best in class program manager to lead the execution of our new trend stage gage process. You are a big-picture thinker and strategic leader with the ability to work directly with executives and senior leaders on delivering significant medical cost savings. You will become an expert on Humana's Employer Group business and understand the key drivers and complexities of making the pivot to health and well-being in an extremely competitive marketplace. This is a high visibility role for someone who wants to play a pivotal role in ensuring Employer Group's long term strategy.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who has the organizational and communication skills necessary to partner with key leaders across the enterprise to successfully meet our financial medical cost goals. In this role, you will lead our Trend Governance forums. This includes accountability for the full trend pipeline, preparing executives for stage-gate decisions, understanding the goal and outcomes needed for strategic investment and facilitating all governance related meetings.

Required Qualifications


Bachelors of arts or science degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field or related field
Prior experience in meeting facilitation, project management, or related area
Intermediate in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, TEAMS, PowerPoint)
1 year in analytics (interpretation, trends, data analysis or related experience)
Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required


Preferred Qualifications


Demonstrated ability to present to senior-level executives
Masters Degree
Understanding of medical cost and how it aligns to business and growth strategies
Management consulting or clinical experience or certification a plus
Knowledge of Humana's internal policies, procedures and systems
