Legal Counsel
Duties: Assists the leadership team in structuring, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing business transactions and operational agreements. Provides guidance to company management regarding compliance with laws and policies to assist in the operations of the company. Reviews, negotiates and revises vendor contracts and coordinates contract management. Provides corporate compliance legal support; related to billing and coding compliance, government and payer audits, healthcare fraud, abuse of laws including Stark and Anti-Kickback Statute, privacy laws including HIPAA, system wide matters and issues regarding compliance. Liaisons relationships with outside counsel and consultants as required.
