Our client, an excellent Medical Communications company, is actively in search of an experienced Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer. Candidates will have approximately two or more years of medical writing experience within a medical communications agency setting. Applicants that have Promotional Medical Education content development experience providing scientific & clinical expertise at a medical communications company are desired. Strong scientific understanding and writing ability required.
***This is a full-time permanent staff opportunity, allowing 100% remote employment. ***
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
An advanced degree in the life sciences, MS, PhD, or Pharm D degree
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (you will be interacting on a regular basis with staff, clients, and pharmaceutical industry professionals)
Strong time and project management skills
Knowledge of AMA writing style
Medical Communications industry writing experience is a plus
Experience with Promotional Medical Education is a plus
Hands on writing experience
Excellent computer skills: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software
Medical Writing/Content Development, for manuscripts, slide decks & scripts for presentation at medical meetings/programs, interactive eLearning modules, posters, manuscripts, white papers, etc.
Ability to apply scientific acumen to write in a variety of therapeutic areas.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills are essential
Ability to work with internal staff & teams (program management, account management, etc.), clients & KOL’s to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
Qualifications:
MS, PhD, PharmD, advanced degree
Approximately two (2) or more years of Medical Writing experience in a healthcare communications, promotional medical education, pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications company setting is ***required***
Understanding of AMA guidelines
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Microsoft proficient (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other industry software)
Ability to work both independent and as a team member
Knowledge of science/ medicine or an aptitude for understanding it
