Personal Injury Case Manager
The candidate will be responsible for: Assist in drafting and preparation of legal documents such as letters of representation, demand letters, letters of preservation, and client correspondence. Provide administrative support for attorney. Conduct legal research and drafting of legal correspondence as requested. Successfully complete all assignments as requested. Aid the attorney in the various aspects of the pre-suit process in a personal injury claim. Prepare Demand Letters/Packages and closing statements. Manage a heavy caseload under the direct supervision and direction of attorney. Accurately maintain and update case management system. Request medical records, medical bills, and liens. Sort, scan, rename, save and distribute litigation mail and faxes. Negotiate with providers and lien holders to dispute charges and/or obtain reductions of outstanding bills and liens. Must have 4 year college degree. Should have ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure, prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment. Must have 2+ years of pre-suit personal injury legal experience. Notary public preferred. Must be bilingual in Spanish.
