A law firm seeks an Alcohol Beverage Regulatory Associate in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will have over one year of experience in alcohol beverage law and regulatory compliance, handling matters such as state and federal licensing, trade practices, and mergers involving licensed entities.

Duties

• Manage state and federal licensing, including TTB permits and state licenses.
• Ensure compliance with the three-tier distribution system and trade practice rules.
• Handle labeling and formula approvals.
• Draft and review franchise and distribution agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions involving licensed entities.
• Advise on general corporate and commercial matters for alcohol beverage clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Admission to the state bar in good standing.
• Experience or strong interest in alcohol beverage regulatory law.
• Familiarity with the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and state alcohol beverage control agencies.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Outstanding judgment and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Interest in working in a collaborative team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
