Community Access Programs Intern - Summer 2023
The interns handle substantive work across the breadth of the civil legal service practice areas and participate in comprehensive training. Gain exposure to the intricacies of financial counseling and economics. Interns may assist across all the Community Access Programs but primarily serve the Mobile Legal Help Center project. Help staff a van weekly and conduct intakes in all areas of law that the Group practices. Assist Program attorneys who practice in housing, employment, and immigration law with drafting documents, conducting research, advocacy with administrative agencies, and shadowing at court appearances. Should ideally have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, and a strong commitment to public interest law.

Schedule: At least two days per week; 12 - 14 hours
