What is the Senior Supply Chain Data Capabilities Analyst responsible for?
This individual is responsible for data mining
interpreting data, identifying operational gaps and developing solutions, which drive efficiency and support **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s Supply Chain planning and operations. This role will own the process of providing recommendations and insight by using analytics, reporting and forecasting for Supply Chain Business Teams in the field and at corporate by utilizing the latest technology and developing automation to retrieve data from multiple systems and/or sources and will lead the partnership with Supply Chain and cross-functional peers to identify specific data needs and operational gaps for visibility to drive results across Supply Chain and cross-functionally to achieve consistency in data outcomes.

Areas of ownership and impact:
Interpret, develop and maintain Supply Chain analytics and operations reporting for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Transportation, Parcel, Distribution Center Operations, and Distribution Field teams.
Partner with Supply Chain teams (i.e. Transportation, Parcel, DDC Operations, and RDC Operations) and other cross-functional areas to determine the right attributes and sources, and the right level of granularity, including definitions, explanations and back up detail if needed for analytics and reporting needs.
Drive efficiencies across analytics and reporting processes by use of automation and implementation of industry best practices.
Be the lead subject matter expert in current state-of-the-art data analytical methods useful in Supply Chain analytics.
Be the lead in driving recommendations for project requirements by providing knowledge and experience in defining data requirements needed for business teams.

This person will be exceptional at data mining, a reporting and analytics professional with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across the organization. In addition to having experience in the responsibilities above, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
2 or more years of experience of Supply Chain, Retail or related fields (e.g. Demand Planning, Forecasting, etc.)
2 or more years of experience with SQL and familiarity with concepts of database design
2 or more years of using ETL tools like Informatica, Alteryx, or DataStage
2 or more years of using BI tools like Power BI, or Cognos, etc.
Advanced skills using Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) or related industry experience
Experience using data visualization tools (Microsoft Power BI, or R)
Experience in statistical modeling (regression methods or time series methods)
Experience using SSAS Tabular, PowerPivot and DAX language
