Profile

Role Objective: Strategize and execute a battery of tests to uncover performance, scalability, and system bottlenecks for hosted and cloud applications with end user experience in mind.Roles & Responsibilities Own and manage non-functional testing to help identify performance bottlenecks, data limitations and system capacity. Collaborate with Software Development and Product Owners to define performance test strategy that mimics production traffic to identify system bottlenecks. Understand functional scenarios to create performance tests that are effective at identifying potential system bottlenecks to minimize business interruption for end users. Define, maintain, and execute performance test plans to ensure non-functional requirements are met. Develop automated solutions that promote self-service reporting of performance results and reduce manual data collection. Provide comprehensive performance test strategies to product and development teams for the creation and execution of performance, stress, load, scalability tests. Generate performance test summary reports for cross-team review. Drive test automation to deliver high performing software at the pace of feature development.Required ExperienceBachelors/ Masteru2019s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline.Minimum of 6 years of quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in a team lead role.Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Software or Data Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles, performance to entry/exit criteria.Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.Working knowledge and experience scripting in any combination of Python, Java, C#, C and/or Groovy. 4-5 years of hands on experience with automation tools such as LoadRunner, Cucumber, Selenium, Akamai CloudTest, JMeter. 4-5 years of performance, load, stress, endurance testing for SaaS applications. Ability to take initiative to drive projects toward completion. Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class Quality Engineering practices.u00A0DesirableKnowledge of geospatial data or experience in insurance industry a big plus. Working experience with open source tools such as Mesos, Spark, Kudu, PostgresDB Experience building dashboards for test results gathering and summarizing.
