Senior Director, Corporate Transactions
The candidate will be responsible for: Drive the deal transaction process to close deals that span across a wide range of industries, partnering with our Business Development and Legal Teams, to utilize a variety of deal structures that optimize third-party partnership arrangements. Propose deal terms and structures and negotiate them with third parties, gathering input from relevant stakeholders to ensure success. Develop processes and strategies for managing various transaction types, with the goal of improving overall efficiency and quality of deals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build the business cases for deal transactions. Work with internal departments to develop best practices and optimize communication for managing Ginkgo’s transaction pipeline. Support our Business Development activities, as needed, even as deals move beyond the transaction stage. Represent Ginkgo in agreement-related activities with external partners, vendors, and other third parties. Create relevant, standardized transaction templates, in partnership with our Legal Team, to enhance the consistency and efficiency of our deals within certain archetypes. Must have Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA and/or J.D. is preferred. Should have significant experience in managing a range of deal transactions, with a focus on negotiation, due diligence, valuation, financial, legal, and operational considerations. Expertise with the key drivers of value for transactions and how they can be measured and quantified.
