Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports directly to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for managing multiple facets of departmental administrative operations, including oversight of academic services and life skills programming, business and budget operations, compliance, and equipment services, in addition to administrative oversight of sport programs. Serves as departmental liaison to campus units on facility maintenance and projects, and human resources / personnel management. Involved in overall strategies and decision-making as member of senior management team. Serves as resource and educational outlet on issues for female student-athletes, including the application of Title IX. Serves as primary manager of gender equity plans within athletics department and implements other inclusive programming to positively impact the student-athlete experience and promote a diverse departmental culture. Assists in compiling and reviewing EADA report and other required state, federal or NCAA and conference-required reports. Represents the athletics department at Summit League, NCAA, and other conferences or functions, when applicable. Maintains knowledge and understanding of NCAA governance and compliance issues, in addition to conference policies. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
