Essentris Specialist

Profile

The Contractor shall provide technical support and resources required for the execution of the clinical and medical components and applications supporting the healthcare delivery process as it relates to Essentris. To be successful in this role, this team member will be responsible for the configuration development, education, database management and continued implementation of Essentris. Skills required are in-depth clinical knowledge, analytical ability, judgment, discretion, and knowledge of a substantial body of administrative principles, concepts, policies, and objectives. A minimum of five
(5) years
of clinical experience, with at least five (5) years in military inpatient facility is highly desired. Also, data intense/critical care (ICU, NICU, OR, etc.) experience in patient flow and work processes is highly desired. The work involves developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on, and improving the effectiveness of Essentris. In addition, business analytics report delivery for process improvement, Utilization Review, Managed Care and Medical Residency programs are essential duties.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Responsible for CIS data management, monitoring, and reporting
Provides and supports training activities
Supports workflow task management by collaborating with the appropriate clinical champions and specialty subject matter experts
Provides continuous availability of full CIS functionality utilizing CliniComp Service Direct/Help Desk Support, DHA Global Support Desk
Configures, monitors, modifies, and manages local mapping of data elements within Essentris.
Job Requirements :
Master’s degree, or 10 years Essentris and 5 years medical informatics experience
Security Certification Required
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Flexible and able to work with various personalities.
The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential.
Must be able to pass a government background investigation.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
