Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking a Business Specialist
to join the Investor Services – Relationship Management Team in our Boston office .
This position will utilize your ability to analyze, problem solve and interact with others to provide operational support for a custom, web-based, transaction processing system utilized by clients, as well as assisting in reaching goals and objectives of the business. As the operational expert, you will work with an external vendor and internal business units to support the day to day needs of the system.
What you can expect:
As a Business Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Troubleshooting system issues
Translating business needs into technology requirements
Designing test plans and testing system enhancements
Collaborating with an external vendor and internal groups
Tracking activities and issues, participating in conference calls, and creating and managing project plans.
As a member of this fast-paced team, a background in project management methodology and technical operations experience within a financial services environment will serve as the foundation for your success.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1 year of business experience
Mutual Fund or financial services industry experience
Knowledge of industry standard processes and systems
