Assistant Professor - Business Law
The candidate will have teaching responsibilities include four courses (face-to-face or online format) per semester at the undergraduate or graduate level. Will teach diverse legal topics and their business applications. Intellectual contributions are expected in one or more of the following areas: technology, international law, business associations, contracts, environmental law, employment law, ethics, marketing and ADR. Moreover, teaching and service duties may require a 5-day per week presence on campus. Involve distance and/or online delivery methodologies. Advise students, be involved in appropriate student organizations, and fulfill normal institutional service obligations. Contribute to the mission of the Business Administration and Law program in providing students with the skills needed to address the challenges of contemporary business. Additional service responsibilities may include advising students, advising a student organization and other service assignments as designated by the School Director. Must have JD degree from an ABA accredited law school. Post graduate degree in a business-related field is preferred. Teaching experience is preferred. . Publications in a business-law related field is preferred. A demonstrated record of achievement in teaching at the college or university level is preferred. A commitment to teaching excellence and innovation and the responsibility of four undergraduate classes per semester are required

Note: This job is fixed term positions (renewable) in Business Law at the level of Assistant Professor beginning Fall semester 2018.
