Student Law Clerk- Tax Law Unit (CSP)
The candidate will be assisting staff in preparing cases and interviewing clients. Will carry out the research applicable laws and regulations and organizing files. Drafting correspondence and documents and keeping clients informed of activity on the case is needed. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and currently enrolled U of MN student in a graduate or undergraduate degree program and be a Law student with an interest in working with low-income clients. Prior course work or clinical experience in tax, administrative law, and/or poverty law is helpful.
