Assistant Attorney General
The candidate will work for Civil Appeals Division. Will manage own caseloads under the guidance of the Division Chief, Deputy Division Chief, Supervising Attorneys, and a Brief Reviewer, and are responsible for briefing and arguing their own appeals. Should have 3 years of legal experience or an appellate clerkship, as well as a demonstrated interest in appellate work. Attorneys with appellate experience in the state or federal courts preferred. Must be licensed by the State of Illinois at the time of application.
