Associate General Counsel

Duties: Advises administrators and faculty on legal issues relating to university immigration matters; prepares and submits immigration filings on behalf of the university; assists administration and faculty with the development of immigration guidelines, policies, and procedures; develops immigration training programs; works with assistant attorneys general and outside counsel on litigation and immigration matters involving the university; represents the university before federal agencies and state and local governmental bodies (i.e. Department of Labor, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, etc.); reviews and approves university contracts; advises administration and faculty regarding general issues of higher education law; assists with management of litigation and other duties as assigned.
