SUMMARY: Tyson Foods has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Accounting Administrator - Payroll Processing Clerk. The candidate will be on a team with several co-workers performing payroll processing related tasks. This position will be responsible for processing payroll to aid TMs in being paid correctly. The work requires a multi-task environment where your attention to detail is vital. Cross-training will be done in areas assigned by their supervisor and the Accounting Manager. Hours of work will be determined by the workload necessary on different days of the accounting period.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Data Entry for Direct Deposits, W4 elections, Pay-cards, Deductions, 6th & 7th day pay, Bonuses, IRS Lock Letters, Off-cycles, W2c inquiries, Gift-cards, Military Differential Pay, etc. This position’s work is extremely varied and requires the interpretation of data from various departments and multiple sources and a keen eye for detail. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as: setting priorities, evaluating results, maintaining confidentiality and coordinating with others. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be able to prioritize multiple tasks and be able to communicate with varied groups of people.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 3-5 plus years experience is preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires intermediate computer skills which should include the full suite of Microsoft Office products. Experience with SAP, KRONOS and WD is preferred.
