Part-Time Law Career Services Graduate Fellow (PT)
The Fellow will be responsible for several projects, which, depending on the needs of the office, may include: Outreach to Recent Graduates: Work with career advisors to conduct outreach to recent law school graduates to promote LCS services and resources. Research current networking opportunities, CLE’s, workshops, and “hot jobs.” Draft weekly newsletter sent out to recent alumni and articles for the LCS blog. Develop written and electronic resources to assist law school graduates in their job searches and integration into work. Facilitate job search support group. Alumni Outreach: Conduct interviews with alumni to post on GGU website, LCS blog and in alumni publications. Employer Research: Conduct research to identify prospective employers for University School of Law students and alumni, as well as support additional employer outreach initiatives. Mentor Program Development: Assist LCS staff in design and launch of mentor program. Resource Development: Work with LCS team to develop and promote job search tools for students and graduates. Conduct research to identify useful resources for law students. Draft handouts, write reviews of resources, and develop other resources. Develop effective strategies to promote and share resources with students. Update job listings and online resources for students. Post content to LCS social media outlets. Event Media Coverage: Assist in the recording and digital distribution of LCS programs, events, and projects. Experience with video editing software such as iMovie is preferred. Social Media Promotion: Utilize social media channels (e.g., LCS blog, LCS Twitter feed, Public Interest Facebook page, Law School LinkedIn group, etc.) to share resources and information with Law School Community. Student Outreach: Work closely with SBA and student groups to identify areas of mutual concern, promote LCS, and collaborate on projects.
