Eagle Eye Electric, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (BSNC) is seeking an Environmental Technician to support an environmental remediation project in Unalakleet, Alaska. This is a seasonal part time/temporary position located in Unalakleet, Alaska.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of Project Manager and Environmental Field Team Leader, provide assistance and support while on field assignment in Unalakleet. Onsite activities will include the following: Collect soil and groundwater samples in accordance with Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC)
Draft Field Sampling Guidance
(March 2010).
Track samples, fill out chain of custody forms, and pack and ship samples to the laboratory.
Record field activities in legally defensible field documentation.
Provide general labor support as the project requires.
Coordinate with and work around heavy equipment operations.
Attend daily tail-gate safety meetings.
NON - ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Requirements :
Required (Mandatory Qualifications):
High School Graduate
Undergraduate degree in a science discipline
1-4 years of experience on environmental restoration projects
40-hour HAZWOPER; current 8-hour refresher
Valid Driver’s License
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Have Alaska field experience and understanding of ADEC regulations and technical guidance documents.
Have safety awareness; ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety and demonstrate safe behavior around moving equipment.
Have adaptability; ability to adapt to changes in the workplace.
Have ability to follow direction and able to work effectively and cooperatively with field teams, all levels of management, and client.
Have strong oral and written communication skills.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
