Paralegal IV - Litigation, Contract
Duties: Contractor shall conduct witness interviews and prepare a record of the interviews for use at deposition. Contractor employees shall identify themselves as a contracted employee during phone and face-to-face interviews with landowners. Review title commitments for accuracy. Create a deed history summary. Contractor shall prepare Declarations of Taking Reports, Amended Declarations of Taking (ADT) Reports, Complaints, Notices Joint Motions to Close, and Motions to Suppress; summarize depositions and other transcripts; maintain case files, control exhibits, and other materials at depositions and at trail for assigned cases. Document these complaints and the responses in a monthly report. Contractor employees shall identify themselves as a contracted employee during phone and face-to-face interviews with landowners. Contractor shall support and assist attorneys in the courtroom by preparing exhibit cross-references; and screening documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria.
