Compliance Intern
Intern will provide entry-level assistance to the entire compliance staff. Duties are related to interpretations, process review, education, and monitoring of NCAA rules compliance. Intern will have involvement in and exposure to most primary areas of compliance, including personnel, amateurism, recruiting, financial aid, awards and benefits, playing and practice seasons, and initial and continuing eligibility. A Bachelor’s degree required. Proficient with technology generally; ability to communicate orally and in writing; analytical ability to digest complex fact patterns, research applicable rules, and recommend a course of action. Prior exposure to NCAA rules in employment, internship, as student-athlete, as coach, or other capacity. Should have Juris Doctorate or Masters Degree in Sports Administration, Sport Management, or similar field. Experience with Compliance Assistant, JumpForward, Teamworks, LSDBi, and RSRO is required.
