DESCRIPTION:
Responsible primarily for production support and admin of a .NET environment including global Microsoft Exchange infrastructure, messaging tolls such as spam, virus and content filtering and the management and support of BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server).
Works independently, coordinating directly with company management, vendor personnel, audit advisors and local/international IT staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Email production support for global operations
- Manage email anti-spam and anti-virus systems
- Manage Active Directory features pertinent to messaging systems
- Basic VMware and Hyper-V virtualization administration
- Basic SQL Server administration experience; installation and setup maintenance plans
- Basic IIS Server administration
- General network administration and troubleshooting
- General System Engineer administration and troubleshooting
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- MINIMUM 10 years IT experience
- MINIMUM 5 years Production Support/Admin
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007 and 2010
- Understanding of email anti-spam and anti-virus technologies
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008
- Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and WINS
- Experience using Microsoft's Windows Service Update (WSUS) server for patch management
- Experience deploying and supporting Citrix environment would be a plus
- Technical problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently without extensive oversight
- Good communications and inter-personal skills
- Positive customer service attitude
- Focus on quality and organized
- Good attention to detail
- An undergraduate degree in Information Technology. Technical certifications are a plus.

- Experience using HP SIM to monitor and manage HP server repair
